Services
To all who are strangers and have no church home; to all who feel the need for worship; to all who are weary and would find rest; to all who are not satisfied and would find higher life; to all who are willing to help us in heralding the coming of God's Kingdom and in applying the truths of the Gospel to the problems of life - this church, Cooke's-Portsmouth, extends a cordial welcome. This is God's House. Enter it's gates with thanksgiving and into it's courts with praise.
This church is not a rival of any other church. We do not boast that our preaching, our teaching, our friendliness, our programmes, our music, our buildings are better than those of other churches. Remembering that they who compare themselves, among themselves are not wise, we strive to be a church of the Christ whom we honour and serve.
WELCOME!
Sunday Worship
Sunday morning worship services are 10:30am to 11:30am. A nursery and Sunday School is available for children (in the fall, winter and spring)
We also have an 'Early Communion' the first Sunday of each month at 8:45 a.m. This is to insure that those who wish communion on a regular basis may receive it, and, to allow those who can't get to church at the regular time to be a part of our worshipping community.
In addition, there is a Coffee and Fellowship Time following worship. We welcome you to our community and ask you join us.
The Kingston Korean Presbyterian Church worships in our sanctuary every Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. and they welcome those who would like to join them
Special Services
In addition to regular worship services we have special services throughout the year. Included are events in the liturgical calendar (Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter, Pentecost, Rally Sunday, Thanksgiving, and Remembrance Day). For information on Baptism (infant, child, or adult), Confirmation, Marriage, and Funerals, visit the Policies Page or contact Rev. Deline
